Hi I mentioned at the beginning of the year about me starting a new blog, were I would try to write a new blog post on it, every single day. Giving me 365 unique articles on the blog by the end of 2009. I am writing articles about lots of different subjects, and I am finding some fantastic keywords by brain storming with the fantastic keyword finder tool Micro Niche Finder.
I’ve got 20 articles on the blog so far and traffic is slowly trickling in, I mentioned that I would be bookmarking each post at ten different bookmarking sites, but I was finding this was eating into my time slightly. It was taking me 5 to 10 minutes extra to do this. The whole idea of this project is to create a blog that only takes you 20 to 30 minutes each day to maintain, and to see the monthly revenue such a blog can generate 12 months later.
I am finding that my blog posts are getting indexed my google within a few hours now,which is good news. But the bad news is I am not getting many people searching for the blog through different keyword phrases as of yet. People have found my blog through 7 different keyword phrases up to now which isn’t good. Compare this to one of my other blogs just covering one niche with the same amount of unique articles. People are finding this blog with quite a few different keyword phrases 94 to be precise.
So if you are going to try the one blog post per day challenge its best if you start a blog on only one subject. One which you can easily write 365 unique articles about. I am going to keep posting on this blog though to see what results it can yield, you don’t know it may improve dramatically and could be a fantastic way to make good money from a part-time blog. I’ve got another blog that I am also going to write one blog post per day on, this blog is in a highly competitive and profitable niche.
What I am going to do each month Is give you the stats of each and see how each method of part time blogging compares. Should you start a blog writing about lots of different subjects or start a blog writing about just one highly competitive niche. Only time will tell who will be the winner. I will start the monitization process on the 1st February and also report my traffic stats for the blogs for the month of January as well.

Happy new year everyone I’m nursing one serious hangover this morning, drank way too much last night. Hope everyone had a good night last night, mine was fantastic went into town it was very quiet though. I remember when you couldn’t move when you went out on new years eve. Everyone tends to stay in or go to house parties these days.
In my last post I mentioned that I would be creating a blog which I would post to every single day to see would results it could yield come the end of 2009. This is one challenge I am going to try my best to stick to. I’m so glad I wrote and published two articles on the blog a few days ago. I’ve already got 4 pages indexed in google for the blog. So a small amount of traffic is coming through already.
Thinking about it most people could quit there day jobs if they had a blog bringing in 100 dollars a day. The blog I’m creating I’m going to monetize it with adsense at the beginning of the first month, in which time hopefully I will be getting around 100 unique visitors per day. With proper ad placement you should be able to get a Click through rate of around 10% but this can depend on many different factor, like the niche you are targeting. Because my blog is going to be about different subjects and niches I am going to look for a 5% CTR.
Okay let’s do some maths
To earn 100 dollars per day through adsense with a CTR of 5% at a average CPC of 0.10 cents. To achieve this we are going to need this many visitors each day to our blog.
1000 CLICKS 0.10 x 1000 = $100
1000 CLICKS 0F 5% OF 20,000
So our aim is to drive 20,000 visitors each month to our blog. This sounds quite an high number but you have to remember these numbers are just estimates you might get a lot more than 0.10 per click, which means you need less traffic to hit your target of $100 per day.

Hi bloggers I’ve just come up with a fantastic little challenge for all you part time bloggers. The idea of this challenge is simple write one unique 300 - 400 word article per day for all 2009. So at the end of 2009 you will have a blog which contains 365 unique blog posts. Writing one blog post per day this size should take you around 20 to 45 minutes depending on what you are writing about.
But what do you write about, its simple you will need to write articles on certain keywords that match this criteria it needs to have over 100 searches per month in google with an exact phrase count of under 1000 competing pages. Finding such keywords can be a difficult and time consuming task, this is were I use the fantastic keyword research tool Micro Niche Finder. Using this tool you can quickly find yourself keywords that will be making you money in no time at all.
Once you have a keyword that fits the criteria, it’s time to start writing a unique 300 - 400 word article about the keyword phrase. You will be using the keyword phrase in the Title, in the first paragraph, second or third paragraph and the last paragraph. Your article needs to be at least four paragraphs, this is a part time system and its all about time so I always make my articles four paragraphs long. Once you have written your article its time to publish it then bookmark it to ten of your favorite bookmarking websites. A good and quick way to do this is by using SocialPoster.com alternate which sites you bookmark to each day you do not want to come across as a spammer, otherwise they will ban you and close your bookmarking account down.
Repeat these steps everyday and that’s all there is to 2009 One Post A Day Part Time Blogger Challenge, by choosing keywords with little competition and a nice search count each month you will see your traffic quickly rise month after month. I will be doing the challenge myself and each month I will show you my stats on traffic and revenue. Monetization will only begin after the first month of january is over, you don’t want your blog to look like a made for adsense type blog.
Let’s do some maths on what traffic you could receive from google using this sytem.
365 days X 100 average search results = 36,500 searches per month to your blog = A Nice Little Earner
These results are taken if you are ranking on the first page for google for each keyword, this is highly unlikely. But I’ve have taken into account that you will be writing articles that have 200, 300 even 1000 searches per month with little competition in google. Micro Niche Finder is fantastic at quickly finding you these golden nuggets, I have just managed to find myself a keyword phrase that is getting 1,200 searches per month with only 344 exact phrase competition in google. I don’t know about you but 1,200 searches per month could be converted nicely if you montetize the traffic correctly.
I’ve have just purchased my domain, because your blog will contain articles from many different subjects you will want to purchase a domain name to represent this, here are a few examples below that are still going free at the time of writing this.

Is it just me or as 2008 gone really really quickly, I think the reason behind this for me is, I’ve been just too busy. Trying to juggle a full time job, a part time blog and other things is fun, but I do feel a little stressed and often find myself saying is it all worth it.
And the answer to it is a big fat YES, I’m loving every minute of my life at the moment. I’ve got a girlfriend who I adore, a job that I enjoy and I ‘m finally making head ways with this Internet Marketing Game. If I was to look at my online marketing skills 18 months ago I knew nothing. And when you know nothing you get scammed, and let me tell you I was scammed.
First scam buying those crappy turnkey websites you see on eBay. I was ripped off big time with hosting costs on that one.
Scam Two buying Internet Marketing guru products, I would buy them, then have to spend more money once inside. I wouldn’t of minded spending more money if It actually worked. If you are new to the make money online game my suggestion is buy one product read it and apply what you learn inside. Don’t go jumping from product to product hoping to make it big.
Here’s the truth behind it all, its all mostly rehashed fluff. Here’s how it works, a group of Internet Marketers promote there Buddy’s latest product. The product maker sells lots of products and their list grows, then it’s onto the next marketer to sell their latest product and to grow their list. Its one big money making roundabout.
You can make good money online, I firmly believe that, but to make life changing amounts of money you need to become friends with the big players and have them promote your product. That’s right you need to create a digital product. Over the last few months I have been working frantically on my niche blogs, and too be honest I’ve made a few mistakes along the way. But I’m finally piecing together a fantastic step by step system.
I could do the unethical thing and release this system as a digital product now and try to make some money, but it isn’t making me any money just yet. Hopefully it will soon, then I am going to release it as a digital product. Hopefully around June or July of next year. If you are thinking about releasing your own Internet Marketing digital product here’s five tips that seem to be making a lot of people rich.

Over-hype your product, employ a top copywriter to write killer copy that sells.

Get as many Internet Marketing Gurus on board for the launch as possible. This is not going to be easy

Once people buy your product, sell them more stuff once there inside.
Tip 4
Look after your affiliates, give them as much marketing material as you can.
Tip 5
If its a successful launch don’t hang around work on your next digital Internet Marketing product. To make even more money and grow your list.
