Hi bloggers, since I started the blog 2 weeks ago. I’ve become addicted to blogging. I’ve been putting in some serious hours. Im thinking of changing my name to the full-time blogger lol.Im checking my stats 2 to 3 times a day, hopefully this will change otherwise I will drive myself insane. Why is Blogging so addictive when you start-up your first blog. Going on holiday to egypt on sunday  for one week and the better half has already told me ‘YOUR NOT GOING NEAR A COMPUTER’.

One week without blogging, how will I cope. I suppose drinking cocktails at the bar will help me a little.

Here’s a picture of the hotel looks quite nice doesn’t it.

Thats it for today off to the gym got to work on my beach bod lol!

PartTime Blogger

Whilst over at John cow I found Weborithm is holding a Free blog makeover contest which ends on the 31st October. Weborithm are the web design guru’s behind the cows blog design. When I read the post I instantly thought I need to enter that contest, these guys are the dog’s b*******.

PartTimeBlogger.com is a brand new blog just 2 weeks old tomorrow, with a brand name that represents 99% of the bloggers out there. The focus of the blog is one man’s journey to becoming a Problogger. Everything I do and learn will be posted on the blog. I really do hope Weborithm decide to go with the PartTimer. They will not regret it, im expecting big things from the blog and I am going to be around for a long long time. The current theme on the blog is okay but I don’t think it represents me the PartTime Blogger. I think my blog will benefit so much from the makeover, and help me achieve one of my main goals which is to bring back the readers for more. The main question is do I deserve a blog makeover and what have I done to deserve one. My honest answer is No because I haven’t been around long enough. But this is a contest and with any contest you need abit of luck to win. Maybe that luck will come my way when they announce the winner on weborithm’s blog on 1st November.

Hi readers to become a successful blogger, you need to set yourself goals and manage the time you have available correctly. You need to set yourself short term and long term goals. 

Here’s a list of my Daily blogging duties after nearly 2 weeks of blogging!

1) Make sure I put 4 hours work a night into the blog during 2007, except for when im away on vacation.

2) Post at least once every night, and try to offer the reader something that will bring them back to the blog.

3) Respond to all comments left on the blog, visit the websites of these readers and leave comments on theirs

4) One hour spent reading articles and ebooks to further my online money making skills.

5) Increase blog traffic by 5-10% each week.

These are my  short term goals for 2007, my long term goal is to make enough money to quit the day job and become a 2hr a day PartTime Blogger.

Hello bloggers! One of my daily blogging routines is to check out what’s going on in the blogging world. I tend to check out blogs outside the top 20 using 45n5.com top 100 list.

You will notice alot of these blogs display mybloglog and blogcatalog widgets plus they get alot of traffic. What I have found is if you display an avator that shouts out click me, for example my avator.

 B1ogger

 You will get traffic from these other blogs clicking on your avator driving traffic to your blog. Using this method im driving around 50 new readers to the blog daily.
