Hi Bloggers, the blog is one week old today. The last week has been hectic for the Part Time Blogger. I have been putting in around 4 hrs work a night so far, thats on top of the 10 hrs I do on the day job, im knackered lol. Im hoping to drop this to around 2 hrs very soon. The girlfriend is chewing my ear off. Im hoping to grow a loyal and sizeable community of reader’s to the blog. I will continue to write blogs that i think is beneficial to the newbie blogger like myself. Hopefully our blogging skills will grow together. Most of my time is spent on marketing and coming up with interesting content for the blog. At the moment im spending zero so I will share with everyone what free methods im using to grow the blog. I will try to keep the blogs, short & sweet and straight to the point. How many people read long blog posts, I know I dont. Its all about time I suppose its a precious commodity. Im averaging around 300 to 400 viewers a day now which I suppose is quite good for a one week old blog with zero paid marketing. Girlfriend time now or she will chew my other ear off.

Hi readers, the blog is just under a week old now. I am learning all I can but to save me time I have decided I will purchase & reveiw a money making ebook each month. Hopefully this will help both me and you achieve the status of Problogger sooner rather than later. To be honest like most of you out there, I have purchased several of these so called get rich ebooks. 9 times out of 10 what I have found is the info you get is available online for free you just need to find it. I am currently searching for my first ebook to review any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Hi everyone and welcome to today’s Blog. The website is just under one week old now, and the traffic to the blog seems to be growing day by day. I am now trying to improve my Alexa ranking. I have just installed the toolbar to my browser & Alexa ranking button to the website. The site is showing No Data at the moment but i expect to see some data very soon, now that i have installed the ranking button. I know alot of people out there are saying Alexa ranking means nothing and is a false way of judging a website’s performance and traffic. But alot of advertisers base this score to there advertising costs etc etc. So i think it is something worth persuing for the blog.

Here are 3 steps I have taken already to improve the Alexa Rank to the blog.

1) I have downloaded the toolbar and installed it to my browser. You can download the toolbar here.http://pages.alexa.com/prod_serv/associatetoolbar.html .

2) Whenever i provide a link to the blog, i use Alexa redirect. For example http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?parttimeblogger.com . If you want to use the redirect on your website just replace parttimeblogger.com with your web address.

3) I have installed the Alexa ranking button to the website. You can downlond a button to display on your website here http://www.alexa.com/site/site_stats/signup .

There are many more steps you can take but these are the steps i have taken so far.
