Confessions of a Part Time Blogger!
Hi bloggers, as you may already know I blog during my spare time. But I am spending way too much time doing meaningless tasks which are really eating into my time and progress.
Below is a list of tasks that I have told myself I will do only once a week, instead of the more than once a day im currently doing.
1) Checking my Alexa stats.
2) Checking my Blog stats.
3) Checking my technorati stats.
4) Checking my Rank on 45n5 top 100 and then continuing to read several blogs on the list. I have installed the widget now, so that should make me stay away more often.
5) Clicking on the Recent Visitors from mybloglog & blogcatalog.
6) Chatting on Messenger.
Here is a List of things im doing about 3 times a day, these are coming down to once day.
1) Checking my messages on mybloglog and blogcatalog.
2) Checking my email inbox.
3) Checking for incoming Blog Comments.
To manage my time even better I have installed a digital counter on my computer. I will allocate myself now much time I have got available then let the counter countdown begin. I installed it a couple of days ago now, and it really gets you to do your work more proactive. No Youtube and chatting to friends on Messenger now for 2 days, it must be working. What is Entrecard.

You then copy & pase the Entrecard widget into your Blog, once installed you are free to earn credits. You can earn one credit by dropping your card on each blog which displays a Entrecard widget, only 1 drop a day allowed on each blog. You can also earn credits when someone drops a card on your widget.
You can advertise your Entrecard on other blogs by clicking on the campaign page and then choosing which blog you would like to appear on. The blog owner then approves or rejects your request to advertise.
Your advertising costs are made up by how many drops you get to your blog each day.

The 45n5 Top 100! Im on my way
Hi Bloggers, when I started the blog just over a month ago. I spoke about the 45n5 top 100 webpage. Well im now on the page im at position 253 well we all have to start somewhere. I’ve just installed the widget to the blog. This will help me to grow the blog because it will give me the inspiration to get into the top 100 each time I see it, I now truly believe with abit of hard work I can achieve this before the years out.
Looking at the top guys though when you read there about page. Most of the these guys have come from an computer background. I have no computer experience or knowledge whatsoever so it will probably be a little harder for a PartTime Blogger like myself.
Hopefully I can get to show you it can be done by a guy from a totally difference background.
