Hi Bloggers, I am the first to admit I am not quite a whizz with images. My post about my new theme was created with 2 free programs I found in minutes with Google. That’s what great about the internet a complete noob like me can find things instantly.

Here are the Free programs I used to create the post

Firstly I wanted to take screen shots of my Homepage so I could explain clearly what each section of the blog did. I googled the term ‘How to take screen shots of your website’ and a website called Thumbalizr was ranked at number 1. I clicked it and here I was able to take the screen shot of the page I wanted.

What is Thumbalizr!

Using Thumbalizr you are able to take screen shots of web pages, all you need to do is enter the URL of the web page you want to capture then press “Thumb it”.

A screen shot of the page will be taken, you get to choose between a screen shot with a fixed height or the complete web page.

That’s it, it’s as easy as 123 . All you do then is click which size you want to download 320, 640, 800, 1024 or 1280 pixel width.

Once I had my download screen shot I was able to edit it using the fantastic free image editing software Gimp. There you have it, hope you like the new theme.

Happy Blogging
