Increasing Traffic using StumbleUpon!
Hi bloggers, since I started the blog 6 weeks ago, my main aim for 2007 as been to generate traffic to the site. I am going to concentrate on making money and monetizing the blog next year. I’ve too much to learn on SEO, Affiliate Marketing and Internet Marketing yet.
Traffic to the blog is growing nicely, as you can see from the Alexa Graph. Plus you need quite abit of traffic before you can even start to think about monetizing your blog and making money from it. Any advertising I do this year on the Blog will be Free.
All the traffic so far is coming from blog directories like mybloglog & blogcatalog. Forum posting and Entrecard. I am very impressed with entrecard so far.
I joined StumbleUpon at the same time I started the blog, but the traffic generated so far from it is pathetic. This is probably due to me not knowing much about StumbleUpon and not using any methods to generate traffic.
During a visit to Caroline Middlebrook’s blog this morning I was amazed to find that a whopping 12,295 visits, 27.4% of her traffic was generated by StumbleUpon for the month of November 07. This prompted me to do a google search for ‘How to increase traffic using Stumbleupon’ here are just afew of the blog posts I read on the subject.

Hi Bloggers, I am always looking for ways to generate free traffic to the blog. Even if it only generates afew new readers.

Entrecard your Free Business Card to more Free Traffic!
Hi Bloggers, I know you may of already seen this blog post several times around the blogosphere. But I feel I need to write a quick blog post about the subject, seeing as this is my online journal of everything I do and learn on my way to becoming a ProBlogger.
What is Entrecard.
Entrecard is a Free online network for bloggers to advertise there blog through a widget, which the members install to their blogs.

You can advertise your Entrecard on other blogs by clicking on the campaign page and then choosing which blog you would like to appear on. The blog owner then approves or rejects your request to advertise.
