take action

Is this you! If so Take Action Today!

Hi Bloggers, following on from the last post about Time being your number 1 tool on your way to Internet Riches.

You now need to Take Action and be more Pro-Active. When we talk about being more Pro-active, what comes into your head?

A person who spends 12 hours in front of the computer every day? Maybe, but we all know that in order to be a successful Internet marketer, we must develop a Take Action Today mentality. Don’t just sit on your arse staring at the computer screen all day checking your Stats & Emails.

Are you a Wannabe or a Take Action Today Person.

A Wannabe is someone who stares at their site stats all day hitting the refresh button over and over again to see if their getting traffic or making any sales.

A Take Action Today person is the one who gets up and gets traffic. And they don’t just stop there, they also focus on ways to optimise their site and generate more sales.

To become the Take Action Today person you need to develop your skills in Internet marketing and overcome the technical barrier’s by GETTING YOUR HANDS DIRTY and learning as much as you can.

If you can afford it Take Action  buy your domain name, host your site, create your landing page, find a niche product and drive traffic to the site. You have to get this Take Action Today mentalitity before you can truly progress though.

Learn from my mistake don’t be tempted to buy the latest Money Making E-books hoping that it will contain the magic formula to success and wealth, only to realise that it contains exactly the same info as the last one you purchased. My advice to you is to take what you learn and Take Action today or you will never get anywhere in the world of Internet marketing.

Time the Number 1 Commodity for an Internet Marketer!

 time clock

 It’s Ticking!

Hi Bloggers, if you are like me you may spend your time watching quite alot of Tv, mainly soap opera’s. Not many of us admit this to friends though.

I use to watch all the soap’s at the time they were on, but over the last few weeks I just record them on my Sky+ box and fast forward through the commercials. This is saving me upto 30 minutes a night. Time that i’m using wisely on the Internet!

I think if you want to make it online you need to learn to manage your time as best you can. Most of us don’t have the luxury of quitting our jobs and seeing if our online ventures take off. How many times have you seen i’ve quit my job to work on this fulltime lets hope it works. Personally I think this is BS no one with half a brain would quit there job and see if there online ventures take off, there either nuts of they have people supporting them, good luck to them though, these sob stories usually bring in the reader’s. Making money online is hard and takes alot of hard work, just stop and think about it for a minute, work out our many hours you put in and calculate your returns. 99% of the time the returns will be well below what the minimum hourly wage is.

To make it online and maybe one day earn enough money to quit the day job you need these factors.

1) 100% Desire to think you will make it, don’t quit keep at it, how many blogs disappear after just afew short months.

2) Time you will ever get anywhere without putting the hours in. This is extremely important at the start of your online ventures. Don’t believe it when you hear im earning X amount for just 2 hours work a day. Maybe they are now, but ask them how many hours they were putting in at the beginning.

These Guru’s should state it more clearly in there Sale’s copy. I earn X amount for 2 hours work a day. It took me 6 to 12 months working 16 hrs a day to get here though.

3) Study learn everything you can about your topic be it Blogging or Affiliate Marketing. Soak it up like a sponge. I suggest all newbies go over to this site and grab your Freebies. Read and read some more.

4) Goal Setting every Blogger needs to set themself goals and aim to achieve them. Set goals that are attainable and not impossible. Aim for the middle not too high and not too low.

5) Many many more.

There are probably hundreds more before we can achieve the status of saying the famous words to our boss ‘I QUIT’.

I would love to keep writing and add more to the list but the time I have available to me at the moment won’t allow it, sorry.

Remember Time is the Number 1 Commodity for us. Learn to manage it the right way and your half way there.

Bye for now and Happy Blogging.

Sorting out my mess of a Computer!

By Part Time Blogger On December 15, 2007 1 Comment

Hi Bloggers, I have spent most of the week sorting out my mess of a computer. I have now arranged all my domains which I intend to get online, and the one’s I need to sell on.

I have arranged all the files into there correct folders instead of having them eat up my desktop. All the cables are now neatly clipped together as they were getting to be an health hazard.

I have also over the months purchased many money making ebooks which I still haven’t had the chance to read. Why do I buy these ebooks and not even read them boggles me, because they are not cheap. All the ebooks are now arranged in one file. I intend to read most of them this before the years out, and maybe turn some of whats written into cash.

I got through three Ebooks today

1) Day Job Killer not a bad ebook for a newbie Affiliate marketer like myself, I will try some of the methods out in the new year.

2) SEO Elite Success Blueprint excellent ebook to accommodate SEO Elite learnt quite afew tips to increase my Search Engine Rankings.

3) Keyword Elite Success Blueprint another excellent ebook to accommodate Keyword Elite, this ebook will help my PPC campaigns next year.

Very impressed with the ebooks, I know a lot of people slate ebooks. 99% of the ebooks on the market don’t bring you what they say, and you can probably get the same info for FREE if you look hard enough.

The biggest value of an ebook is the time they save you, and time is a precious commodity. That being said I’m done with buying them for now, I’m finally learning from my mistakes.

Right got to go now the girlfriend is forcing me into watching The X Factor final.

My 10 Goals for 2008! More will be added

By Part Time Blogger On December 12, 2007 8 Comments

Hi Bloggers were getting to the end of 2007 and I think we all need to set our self goals for 2008 write them down and work towards achieving the goals. I have written down 10 goals that I want to achieve from the internet next year I will probably add to these as the year passes. But here’s the list i’ve come up with so far.

 goal setting

1) Earn $500 a month by the end of June and $1000 by the end of December from the Internet.

2) Create a least 1 pillar post a week that other Bloggers will link to.

3) Create better content which will hopefully come as I become a better Internet Marketer.

4) Increase my Affiliate sales by 10% each month.

5) Increase my Rss feed readers by 10% each month. Ive decided to work off percentages rather than numbers because by numbers are really pathetic at the moment. At this point im on my knees begging you ‘PLEASE JOIN MY RSS FEED’ only kidding.

6) Set aside 2 to 4 hrs a day to work on my Internet Projects and the Blog.

7) New Unique Blog Design by july with the template being available to all Bloggers.

8) Create 1 ebook which will be available free to all readers and work on the Brand name Part Time Blogger.

9) Manage my time better and try to make all my time proactive.

10) Finish reading this years money making ebooks i’ve purchased, i’ve about 7 to get through. Why I buy these ebooks and never read them boogles me. I will review the ones that make me money so keep your eyes peeled for the reviews.

The above goals I believe are achievable and if I hit every goal I will be a very happy man this time next year. That being said im a very happy man now so i’ll will change that to a very very happy man.

Happy Blogging and a merry xmas to all!
