Hi Bloggers, i’ve got 10 domains parked and earning me nothing. Im going to get 3 of the domains designed by freelancers. But have decided to have a go at designing some of the others myself. I have zero web design knowledge, but I have managed to knock up this website in 2 hours. Howtotrainadog.net I purchased the domain name many months ago after constantly looking into this subject myself, due to me having a problem dog. Problem dog is an understatement he’s a menace.

I used Nvu for the web design and cooltext for the logo, both are free tools.

Whilst searching for these tools I came across this fantastic list of tools for web 2.0 design.

Hope you find the tool your looking for from the list.

$1000 budget to design 3 websites!

By Part Time Blogger On November 13, 2007 No Comments

Hi Bloggers, one of my long term plans for my internet journey to financial freedom. Is to grow my network of sites. I have around 30 domains at the moment. Around 10 of the domain are rubbish turnkey sites I bought from ebay, these are to be sold very soon, I have about 10 forum sites which I just haven’t got the time to manage, and I have about 10 domains parked.

Looking at my domains I have about 3 that have excellent potential. They just need the right design to get them out of the traps. I have spent several hours searching for free web templates that I could use on the sites, but I am no nearer to finder a design and I certainly haven’t got the time or skill to design them myself.

I have a $1000 budget to get these websites designed and up & running. Im thinking about posting my first project on getafreelancer.com or scriptlance.com

If I can get the right designer, I think I have a potentially massive site on my hands with my first project, fingers crossed.

When the site is designed and up and running I will let all the readers see it and how much it cost from start to finish. Im hoping the site will bring me in another $50 to $100 a month at the very least.

Im taking my step to financial freedom one step at a time, I know it will not happen overnight with my limited budget. But im going to give it my best shot!
