Hi readers when I started out on the internet about 12 months ago. I made the mistake of buying these ready made turnkey sites from ebay. I purchased about 12 with topics ranging from bodybuilding to house flipping. All these sites displayed adsense and amazon. Guess what didnt make a single amazon sale and the adsense money I made was just enough to buy me a beer. What im trying to tell you is I jumped straight into it thinking I could make some decent money with having lots of sites, then when that didn’t work, I decided I would start up my own forum. Mistake number 2. Do not start up a forum from scratch unless you have got the time to put some serious hours into it. I have now come to the conclusion of running only one site till it is established, then maybe think about starting another.
Whilst surfing over at Blogcatalog and Mybloglog I was amazed at how many members have at least 5 blogs. These guys must never sleep. Running one already takes up alot of my time. Any PartTime bloggers out there, with over 5 quality blogs tell me now you do it. Your time management skills must be amazing.
Happy Blogging
The PartTimer

I have 9 blogs. But they are not all updated often. It took so many hours you have no idea. I have a dial-up modem also so it took even longer than it should have. It really is a 7 day a week job.

I have had a large forum ( i still do
) over at http://www.discusstv.com/forums/ - i started it from scratch at one time , what i did need was at least 2-3 main content guys - people who had an avid interest in the topic . the reason i would not buy a forum is because - you do not know the history .. and often major changes by a new admin antagonizes forum members . but thats just my 2c

Yeah, I’ve only got the one personal blog, and don’t keep it updated very much. But trying to establish an online e-commerce store at the same time believe me when I say I’ve got my hands full! I can’t imagine trying to take on more than one startup company/business/blog/forum at a time.

I started with one blog and added another one about three months later. When I thought I could cope, I added another one, also about three months later. In the last two months I have added two more blogs. Now I have 5 blogs. And I can tell you it’s like hell to keep churning out posts for everyone! Not to mention I have a few other websites to take care…
If someone were to ask me now, I would recommend that you stick to one first. Focus on it and fill it with good content until the blog matures if you know what i mean. You got a nice clean blog here. Keep it up!
