Making a plan and sticking to it

By Part Time Blogger On November 27, 2008 Under Goal Setting

Hi bloggers this blog as just passed it’s one year birthday, I can honestly say I’ve worked my butt off over the last 12 months on my Internet Marketing skills. I haven’t been doing much blogging in this blog, but I have a network of niche blogs I am constantly updating.

I have wasted an awful amount of time this year, promoting peoples products and earning in comparison to my time invested PEANUTS. I am finished actively promoting Internet Marketing products, they just don’t make you money month after month.

There is new stuff coming out every week by the latest Internet Marketing guru, In the past I  would write article upon article promoting these gurus products, in return I would made a couple of affiliate sales. But these sales only last a few days, then all the articles I wrote become virtuously worthless. Just done my calculations and I reckon I have wrote around 250 articles promoting the latest products, what a fool.

The best way to do it, is to right articles on niches topics that will continue making you money months or even years down the line. I haven’t totally finished marketing I.M products, I will only market such products on this blog, were I can quickly throw a quick review up. This is the only make money online blog I run, and to be honest I’m glad. This niche is so competitive and one were only the biggest ass kissers make it.

To make money online you need to make a plan and stick to it, I work on the Internet part-time so I haven’t got a great deal of time to spare. This is the plan I’ve been doing over the last 2 months. I’ve been concentrating on 25 of my niche blogs. I write 5 articles to 5 different blogs each day, articles are short about 250 words and related to my chosen keywords. This means each blog gets a fresh article every 5 days. My aim is to get 30 articles on each blog. So from doing my calculations it will take me 150 days, which converted into months is 5 months.

I am also using link building strategies on the 25 blogs, so hopefully when the 5 months are up I will have a good size network of blogs each with a PageRank of 3 at least. I am 2 months into the project and already I am ranking pretty well for most of my keywords. Going to stick at the plan as I’ve written it down and see what results it yields at the end of the 5 months.

That sounds like a great plan, and I agree 100% with you. If you are going to be successful, you need to make a plan and stick to it.

I am having problem being as strict as you, writing 5 articles a day would be too much for me. I am having problems writing 2 :)

That’s how it is when you have a 100% job, and a wife and two kids LOL.

This is so important! I am just myself starting to puckle down, plan and focus.

Writing 250 word long articles is easy, I can write a 100% copyscape passed unique article in about 15 minutes now. Not so long a go it would of took me about 45 minutes. It gets easier as you get into the swing of it. This is what I do, I read one of of many plr artices there around 400 to 500 in length. Then I just write what was said in my own words. Articles usually come out at about 250 to 300 words.
