Interesting to hear the journey that you’ve taken online so far, I hope you have much more success with blogging, I find it’s a great activity, even if it’s not that profitable for me yet.
Good luck for 2008!

Hi Bloggers and welcome to the last post of the year. 2007 as had its ups and downs for me it as been the year I started by Part Time Internet Marketing career.
Here’s the Story so Far
I decided I wanted to start making a bit of money from the Internet in may when my overtime was stopped in my day job. So I opened up a shop on Ebay selling Ebooks, boy was that a mistake several emails a day saying ‘Link doesn’t work or ‘Ebook is shit’ I want a refund. For f**** sake its only a dollar, get a life. That little venture lasted about 3 weeks and I made about $30 profit. So be warned selling ebooks on ebay doesn’t work now there’s too many people at it.
Next f*** up purchased nearly a dozen ready made turnkey sites. I was a fool and fell for the sales talk not to mention I was a complete newbie. This is now naive I was, I purchased 5 sites from one guy with hosting. So I emailed him to say could I host all the sites on one hosting account. This is what the w***er had to say.
Hi Keith, you can not host more than one domain with each hosting account with us, some hosting account’s do but the service is shocking so stay well clear. This guy clearly knew I was a newbie just by knowing I purchased 5 of his shitty sites, and conned me big time. I am tempted to let you all know who the w***er is but that is not my style, and as they say you learn from your mistakes.
Next mistake I started several forums hoping I could grow a popular community. I managed to gather 100 members on one. But the posts never really taken off and the work I put into it was worth thousands by my day job standards.
In October I discovered the world of Blogging and everything is moving along great now. I am channeling my time and money better and I predict a good year for 2008.
My two Niche sites I discovered last week are up and I’m ranking at 120 for my chosen keyword in a matter of days. And more importantly the site is starting to make a small amount of money .$3.50 so far you have to start somewhere don’t you.
Well hope you all have a fantastic New Years Eve, I’m flying over to Ireland in a few hours to spend it there with my lovely girlfriend.
Bye for now and Happy New Year to all of you!

Happy New Year! I hope those sites work out.. And by the way, how do you check that you’re 120? Do you actually count, or is there some service, or gwebtool or something..

Thanks ed and happ new year to you, I use SEO ELITE to check my ranking its a fantastic tool.
Thanks for the Link Love
Yeah I found it interesting to hear about e-books – I’ve always been rather sceptical about that market and whether it’s that successful.
SEO Elite sounds quite good, I should really take a look at one of these SEO programs sometime – that last time i did was about 5 years ago and tried out WebCEO I think it was called, but only had a very small site then that barely got search engine traffic, so didn’t think WebCEO was that good. I’ll bear SEO Elite in mind tho, cheers!
